Scott Hanover: General Manager
Marla (wife), Janine

Scott, a native of Iowa and northlander for 20 years, has been involved in tennis and facility management for a number of years.  He was previously the manager of Plaza Tennis Center in Kansas City, Missouri.  He's the national volunteer chairman of USTA's Tennis in the Parks committee.  scotthanover@clayview.com


Claire Burback:
Front Desk Manager

Claire, a member of Clayview since 2008, has worked for Clayview since June of 2009. She has about two years of experience in office management, among other varied job experiences. She enjoys organization and attention to detail. Claire is also an avid tennis player, so you will often see her on the courts when she is not working at the Clayview front desk. claire@clayview.com

Pablo Mazlumian: Director of Tennis
Rhonda (wife), Gianna, Alexa

Pablo, a NCAA Division 2 All-American at UC-Riverside in 1995, has 15 years of coaching and teaching experience under his belt. Pablo brings a wealth of knowledge to the program. pablo@clayview.com


Luke Cachia: Head Pro

Cachia (Kay-she-uh) has worked since August 2009 at Midtown Athletic Club in Overland Park, KS as an assistant tennis teaching professional. Prior to that, he was assistant tennis coach at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, where he received his BA in Kinesiology Recreation, and a minor in physical education.

From 2002-2008, Luke was a tennis professional with Tennis Australia, in Melbourne. Luke has numerous accreditations and awards for his tennis service and study.

Tim Kalis:
Assistant Tennis Coach

Tim began tennis coaching in 1996 as the head tennis pro and director at Bowman Woods Swim & Racquet Club in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was previously the Head Teaching Pro at Old Pike Country Club, and has been the head girls tennis coach at Park Hill since 2005. In the summer, Tim runs the Barry Park tennis program (through Park Hill Community Education). Coach Kalis was named Outstanding High School Coach of the Year by the USTA Heart of America District in 2007 and won the Community Service Award in 2008.


Swimming

Jacqueline Filardo: Head Swim Coach/Swim Lesson Coordinator

Jacqueline will serve as our Head Coach as well as the Swim Lesson Coordinator. Jacqueline is attending the University of Missouri Columbia, working towards a degree in Communications. She enjoys all sports, but swam and played tennis for Clayview and Liberty High School. In swimming, her favorite strokes are butterfly and backstroke. She has two sisters who both swim for Clayview. She has a dog named Shrek. Growing up, her favorite part of being on Clayview swim team was the friendships and the competition. jacquelinefilardo@clayview.com

Our assistant coaches this season are Blaine Hoppenrath and Bryan Eisenberger. Blaine is a Division I swimmer for the University of Nebraska as well as a long time member and former swimmer for Clayview. Brian is an '06, '07, and '08 NAIA National Swim Team Member from Lindenwood University and a lifelong Northland Conference swimmer.

Tracy Cooper: Fitness Director, Tennis Professional

Tracy is new to the Clayview staff, and brings with her 8 years of experience teaching fitness and coaching tennis. Tracy is also USPTA certified.

Kaylin Mayse:
Fitness Instructor
Shayne (husband), Ava

Kaylin has been in the fitness industry for over 10 years, both as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. Her lifelong passion for fitness is demonstrated by her fun, yet extremely effective workouts and her personal dedication to living a healthy lifestyle. She designs her group workouts to challenge all levels of fitness and hopes to meet you in class soon!


Amy Cole-Curnow:
Fitness Instructor
Grant (husband), Lilly and Sam
 
Amy is an IFPA certified personal trainer who has over 20 years of dance and fitness training combined. Amy’s website – www.allwaysfit.org – shows her passion for bringing personal training and fitness to folks one client at a time. She currently teaches at Liberty Community Center, and Liberty Christ Church. She has also been a cheerleader for two professional sports teams.
Clayview country club offers tennis, fitness, swimming and many other activities in Liberty, Northland and Kansas City, Missouri. We provide a swim team and lessons in tennis, fitness, swimming and family fun.
